Covid-19 Procedures

The new routine is as follows:

  • Please come to your appointment and bring minimal items with you. Wait inside the car until you are called in.
  • Your temperature will be checked before entering the salon and kept on record for 21 days, then disposed of securely.
  • Make sure you have filled in the COVID-19 form online on our website beforehand. A paper one will be provided for you to tick and sign otherwise.
  • Please arrive wearing a mask and ensure it’s a good fit, covering your mouth and nose.
  • You MUST avoid touching your mask and face throughout your appointment. Please AVOID using your mobile phone during any manicure or nail extension appointment. Send any designs to our email prior to treatment.
  • All clients MUST wash their hands prior to treatment in the toilet with provided hand soap and dry with posh paper towels. Dispose the paper towels in the bin as required.
  • All clients must wear a disposable mask except for combination of eyebrow/lip and chin wax. (or medically exempt).
  • Make sure to bring your flip flops and leave anything you don't need inside your car. It is safe as we have CCTV and secured.
  • Please place your items inside the grey basket when you arrive.
  • Unfortunately, refreshments and magazines cannot be given nor brought in.
  • Card payments only. The machine is disinfected and cleaned with spray/wipes in between clients, also appointments.
  • Staggered appointment times to cope with demand of treatments and cleanliness of salon.
  • IF you or anyone in your household display any symptoms, or self-isolating or awaiting test results, please re arrange your appointment with immediate effect.

CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS

Please keep to your booked appointments. Rebooking AT very last minute still counts as a cancellation and affects the salon.

You must give 48 hours-notice to cancel your appointment to offer your cancelled appointment to another client.

You will be charged 50 percent of the booking IF cancelled less than 48 hours.

There is 100 percent charge IF less than 24 hours cancellation and immediate payment WILL be required over the telephone.

TIMEKEEPING

Please do not be any more than 5 – 10 minutes early or late to your appointment. YOU must immediately let us know how late you will be. We will do our best to provide an efficient service with the time left of your treatment. IF you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, this will affect your booked treatment, so an express service will be given for the same price of original booking (covering the full cost of your treatment).

HEALTH

Please keep yourselves well and healthy! If you are sick, or any symptoms of feeling unwell, or have any symptoms of colds or flu, please keep away and rebook your appointment as soon as you feel better.

Any symptoms of COVID-19 please keep away from the salon, self-isolate and rebook your appointment.

DISCLAIMER

Gel polish manicures and nail extensions are available for FREE repair within the 48-hour period. Please note that hand creams with lanolin and any parabens will not make your nails last. The same goes with daily usage of hand sanitizers as the amount of chemicals and alcohol decrease the longevity of any nail enhancements.

Please look after your nail enhancements and manicures and do not use them as tools. You are responsible for what happens for when you exit the salon. You must follow Joanne’s good advice accordingly.

Any nail enhancement repairs carried out will be charged after 48 hours.

    I have not been diagnosed with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past two weeks.
    I have not shown symptoms of COVID-19 or come in close contact with anyone exhibiting these symptoms in the past two weeks.
    I have not traveled outside of my immediate daily routine for the past two weeks.
    I do not have a cough, fever, chills, shortness of breath, or loss of taste or smell.
    If I begin to show symptoms of COVID-19 within the next two weeks, I will contact Joanne Hearle at Bressingham Beauty Salon.
    I will follow all posted salon rules to keep myself, my Therapist and those around me safe.
