What can I expect coming to you?

I aim to give my brides-to-be, the high positive energy and super organisational skills which is a must for all occasions. Be the calm and caring person I am too. Be reassured and confident you have someone whose driven, passionate about you and your tribe; for me it’s giving all of my brides to be and everyone a very special experience. You will be highly looked after throughout!
I take great pride in my learning and CPD – I am a highly trained and fully qualified VCTC Levels 2 and 3 Diploma; Skincare Specialist and Bridal Make Up Artist with five years’ experience. I studied at the best beauty school in Norwich – The Norwich School of Beauty which has been one of the best decisions of my life. Since then, I still practice higher learning courses in my expertise to keep everything fresh.
I cannot emphasise on numbers as its poor etiquette, but what I will say is that all of my brides have all been fabulous regardless of any last-minute decisions. It’s been a real eye opener and amazing experiences. Brides give me their brief in what they would like for their big special and I adhere to it, with absolute immense attention to detail. Everything has to be perfect as I am left to adhere to what all customers want and need, guiding them with my absolute expertise!
How far in advance should I book?
Super question! Due to the back log of weddings from Covid-19 2020, there was limited availability for 2021 and 2022, and a large number of dates were already booked. Plus, as a busy salon owner of Bressingham Beauty Salon – I was working seven days a week and one late evening too. Due to demand, I was having to squeeze in brides-to-be for wedding trials and on the day bridal make up for 2022.
Right now, for 2023 a large number of bridal bookings has been booked in the diary already. I still have 60% of peak dates available – although I have found a lot of couples are ready and planning for 2024! Whatever you plan to decide, you have my full absolute support and my 2024 diary has been open already for a short period with clients booking in already!
Can you also accommodate my bride tribe?
Most definitely!! I cannot leave your bridal party out of the picture. I have beautified brides and their parties of 7 all by myself without any assistance, and zero stress all before the ceremony!!
How far in advance should I have a bridal trial?
I highly recommend to book, your bridal trial 8 to 12 weeks in advance to cater for your bridal needs. Also, this does give me the opportunity to write down those special important details and requests to fulfil your bridal make up on the day, so you look fabulous and feel amazing!
Again, with my salon business, I will do my best to cater to your availability as the diary get very busy as a sole trader.
Is a bridal trial necessary? Do I need to bring anything with me?
In my view, I recommend a bridal trial as I have the opportunity to get to know you, break the ice and write down those special, important details. Having a rough idea on your skincare and make up regime will give me an idea of where you’re at. If you are hopeless and clueless, please do not worry as I will positively guide you and encourage you through this process.
For me, in my opinion – you do not need the stress to compare looks or anything like that on social media. I’m old fashioned and would rather positively play with make-up looks, discovering what you like and dislike as that is the main fun part of your bridal make up planning, so you feel amazingly organised on the day!
Social media and certain photographers only play a small part of discovery. *Please note – Images that come from social platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest are incredibly highly-filtered and do not promote bridal and wedding make up as it all looks the same and has zero identity. This is totally unhealthy for your mental health and wellness and does bring out stress.*
What is your minimum charge and where’s your price list?
All of my pricing is found on my website for your perusal and it’s super easy to scroll through as it is highly user friendly! Everything is all there, beautifully simplistic with zero jargon.
Depending on how much you want to spend, I have a minimum bridal wedding booking of £300 for all weddings. This includes your bridal trial appointment, bridal make up on the day and fuel charges depending on venue/accommodation location.

I am more than a professional salon owner and mobile bridal and wedding make-up artist of 5 year’s experience. I am your assistant – for up to 8 hours or more on the day depending on number of the bridal party and those special attention details required of me. I help with everything; helping the bride and everyone else with their dresses, cleanliness of the room ready for photographers, special details with flowers and wedding attire, getting the bridesmaids footwear on, how the hair sits on the dress, the placing of fascinator’s and more!

Health
Please keep yourselves healthy and FREE of colds and flu. Covid is STILL around however, THIS DOES NOT give you a free pass to cancel your booking without payment last minute. Please note that if you cancel or fail to show for your appointment, you will be charged within the terms of your booking, thank you.
Disclaimer
NAILS:
I will DO a FREE repair within the 48-hour period on the nails. Please note that hand creams with lanolin and any parabens will not make your nails last. The same goes with daily usage of hand sanitizers as the amount of chemicals and alcohol decrease the longevity of any nail enhancements!!
Please look after your nail enhancements and manicures and do not use them as tools. You are responsible for what happens for when you exit the salon. You must follow Joanne’s good advice accordingly. Any nail enhancement repairs carried out will be charged after 48 hours.
I do have to charge for strip lashes if they are a special request or part of a make up look you want! They do not come for free at all. So whatever look we are doing with lashes, this will be charged according to your invoice. (“PP” is per person or per pair.)
Fuel costs – depending on location I will be charging anything up to £200.00 maximum!
Any wedding make up booking payments are due 90 days from the event date itself!
Any payments for special occasion make up bookings are due 100% upfront.
I do have the right to cancel the date prior to the day if any monies is outstanding and not paid. Everything should be paid 90 days before the date!
All deposits are non refundable and if any circumstances change 90 days prior, will always rebook for a later date.
I am happy to give Jo Hearle Beauty & Nail Salon credit for salon treatments, as long within 90 day period of notice.
Please give 90 days notice to cancel your wedding make up appointment! Cancellations within 90 days WILL incur FULL CHARGE of outstanding due balance!
On completing and signing the booking form, or verbally, you are entering a contractural agreement between (you) the customer and (Jo Hearle) your Make Up Artist. Under no circumstance, does this allow you to cancel after paying the deposit alone, you must pay the full booking amount 90 days prior, at least!
This does not affect your consumer rights.
